Tygon® is registered trademark of tubing family manufactured by SAINT-GOBAIN PERFORMANCE PLASTICS. Tygon® tubings are made of different compounds with the use of: silicone, PVC, polyurethane, fluoropolymers, thermoplastic elastomers or other plastic materials. Due to unique physicochemical properties and quality of manufacture of above mentioned materials Tygon® tubing are characterised by excellent physicochemical properties in: transparency, flexibility, crush resistance, smoothness of internal layer, elasticity, gas permeability, non toxicity and biocompatibility. Different material compounds used in tubing production allows for a very wide usage of Tygon® hoses in applications such as: food, pharmaceutical, medical, biotechnological, chemical, petrochemical, peristaltic or laboratory.
