Celtec® is a foamed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheet whose outstanding combination of properties make it perfect for store fixtures, point of purchase displays, exhibits, signage, kiosks, store displays, dimensional letters, and more.
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a common thermoplastic used to make lightweight, rigid products such as automotive parts, piping and laboratory equipment. It is widely used for mechanical purposes, and also has good electrical properties.
Acetal products absorb a minimal amount of moisture, and their physical properties remain constant in a variety of environments. Acetals are easily machined and have excellent dimensional stability for close-tolerance machined parts. Acetal is ideally suited for applications which require strength and stiffness. Acetal shapes are produced from copolymer (Acetron® GP) and homopolymer (Delrin®) resins which provide a high modulus of elasticity coupled with great strength, stiffness and toughness.
(commonly called plexiglass) are available in cast or extruded sheet, rod and tube. Extruded plexiglass is the more economical alternative to cast acrylic. Cast plexiglass has superior optical and surface qualities, and is available in a wide variety of colors, textures and formulations
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a high impact strength material, with a higher operating temperature than LDPE.
Lexan- is a brand name for a polycarbonate sheet of plastic. This plastic sheeting is durable, heat resistant, and so impact resistant that some "bulletproof" glass is made of Lexan. It comes in a variety of thicknesses, though the thicker the sheet, the more durable
PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a semicrystalline, high-temperature (up to 500° F) engineering thermoplastic that is excellent for applications where thermal, chemical, and combustion properties (UL flammability rating of V-0) are critical to performance.
Phenolic is a hard, dense material made by applying heat and pressure to layers of paper or fabric, impregnated with a synthetic resin. These phenolics are approximately half the weight of aluminum and their physical toughness resists abrasion, friction, impact and material fatigue. It has special properties that fight off the corrosive action of water and many chemicals, increasing the service life and efficiency of your product parts.
Nylon is a strong, stiff engineering plastic with outstanding bearing and wear properties. Nylon can be used to replace metal bearings and bushings etc..
Expanded PVC foam board, also known as expanded polyvinyl chloride (PVC), is a lightweight, rigid form of expanded foam polyvinyl chloride. It is commonly used for commercial purposes like digital and screen printing, laminating, vinyl lettering, signage, and more.
UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) performs well under the most rigorous conditions of wear and environment because of its unique combination of physical and mechanical properties. Not only does it have the highest known impact strength of any thermoplastic currenty available, but it offers high resistance to abrasion. UHMW has a very low coefficient of friction and extremely low moisture absorption, making it ideal for industrial wear, impact and sliding applications
